It is now possible to do a Undo/Redo after Drag and Drop Text inside the Editor Window ( Move Text )
[2008.10.11 CHANGED] File List Palette
Improved File List Palette. This new File List Palette give a lot of choice to list files using the Contextual Menu ( ctrl + mouse down ) It also could be used to Insert Links in a very fast way.
Insertion Images and Links
To insert Links and Images, just use the Contextual Menu ( ctrl + mouse down ) If the file is CSS or Java Script SEEdit Maxi insert a valid link.
Please Help us test it out and give us feed-back on it, using the Send Report Function from the SEEdit Maxi Help menu.
The File List Palette is available from the Editor Toolbar, File Navigator Bar ( the blue one ), Window Menu and the Pop Up List in the Editor Window - Palettes.

Today we announce the SEEdit Maxi Pre Release RSS Feed
We use this new RSS Channel to announce Pre Releases, Nightly Builds or whatever we name it. This RSS Feed include Update Info , Direct Downloads (.dmg ) and both PPC and Intel builds.

Today the Public Release of SEEdit Maxi 2008 r10 is available for download.
[2008.10.08 New] Auto Update of SEEdit Maxi
SEEdit Maxi is now using the Sparkle Framework to handle new versions and updates. This new framework also install and re launch SEEdit Maxi.
The Auto Check for Updates could be turned on/off from the SEEdit Preferences. It is still possible to check for a new version from the SEEdit Maxi Application Menu.
The "Next Update build" is PPC or i386 build. Also when the Universal Binary build is used. ( This builds are about half the size of the Universal Binary build
An example on other applications that use the same framework is the FTP application CyberDuck.

Today SEEdit Maxi Final Candidate 2008.10.06 is available for download and test.
The last days we written an application ( only for in-house using ) that handles our SEEdit Maxi builds and the Sparkle files on our server.
SEEdit Maxi Alpha/Beta builds in the future
In the future we "announce" the alpha/beta builds only here in our RSS Feed and our site! But we hope that our new tools and the new "SEEdit Maxi Upadte Version" give us less works so we could fix an public update safe and quickly.

Todays Alpha Release 2008.10.03 have a bug in the new Auto Update that affect Power PC Macs ( G4/G5 )
SEEdit Do not check properly when the app is launched on PPC Macs - However the check for new update works from the SEEdit Application Menu.
This BUG is FIXED in next build and tested on both OS X 10.4 and 10.5 on PPC.

SEEdit Maxi is now using the Sparkle Framework to handle new versions and updates. The downloaded copy of SEEdit Maxi is the Mac Universal build.
