An Minor Upgrade is available for download. This Upgrade fixes some issues with using Script files ( SEEdit Maxi II Script Language ) and multiple Quick FTP. Also a cosmetic fix using Auto Collapse and Sidebar.

Added Sidebar.
Turn the Sidebar on/off from the View Menu or the triangle at bottom/left in the Editor Window. A Contextual Menu is available in the Sidebar ( ctrl + mouse down )
Sidebar - Show Doc List
Works similar to the Window Menu. Turn Auto Collapse on/off from the View Menu.
Sidebar - Show Show File list
Lists html, css and javascript files. Double click open the file, drag and drop insert Link.
Sidebar - Show Show Images
Lists images files. Double click Preview the file, drag and drop insert image.
Sidebar - Show Show Downloads
Drag and drop insert Link to the Download file.
Sidebar - Insert CSS Classes
Double click insert class, drag and drop insert class. If some text in the Editor is selected use double click and the insertion would be complete with both xhtml code and class.
Sidebar - Insert Snippets XHTML/CSS/Script
Drag and drop insert the snippets. If some text is selected and the snippets have an mouse pointer, use double click to wrap the snippet around the selected text.
Sidebar - Insert Lists, HTML/Currency Entities
Drag and drop/double click insert the code.
Auto Collapse
Reworked the Auto Collapse function. Turn Auto Collapse on/off from the View Menu. ( Also available in some PopUpMenus )
Adjusted editor window max height settings.
Added coordinates to the Live Preview Window at bottom/left.
Fixed some issues
Show/Hide help tags broken, now the settings is saved properly.

Today Final Candidate no: 4 of SEEdit Maxi II 2009 r3 is available for download.
- Improved Insertion of links, images, css classes and snippets using drag and drop.
- Improved Document navigation using Auto Collapse and the new Sidebar.
This build no 4 fixes some small alpha issues using Auto Collapse. Closing a Document now bring the next to front, turning Auto Collapse on now collapse the documents except the frontmost. Bring All to Front from the Window Menu now brings all documents to front.

Today the first Final Candidate of SEEdit Maxi II 2009 r3 is available for download. Into this release we added a Sidebar that allows insertion of links, images and more using drag and drop.
Added Sidebar.

Set Sidebar Folder Filter available from the View Menu - Sometimes some folders/directorys are not interesting to list to the Sidebar File List-boxes. In our case we filter out old rss archives. Folder/Directory names should be separated by semicolon.

Some Keyboard Shortcuts
In SEEdit Maxi II is some shortcuts as default to insert xhtml code. It is also possible to wrap the code around selected text.
Editor Font Size
It is also possible to change the Editor Font Size using the Mac Standard Keys.

Sidebar Tools
Show/Hide the Sidebar Tools from the View Menu. With the Contextual Menu in the Sidebar ( ctrl + mouse down ) it is possible alter tools. Insert links to xhtml documents, css documents, javascript documents and images just by drag and drop. Insertion of Snippets and CSS classes responds on drag and drop, select and press enter/return and double click.
Open Document
To open the file in a new window, double click or select and press enter/return.
Sidebar Folder Filter
Filter out Directory/Folders that not should be visible in the File List-box. This Filter is available from the View Menu and works on Project/Site level. ( Requires a valid SEEdit Project/Site )
Insertion of CSS Class
To insert a css class use drag and drop, double click or enter/return. If some text is selected in the Editor, use double click or enter/return to wrap the whole command and css class around the selected text.

Server Check Document Tools
If a SEEdit Maxi Site/Project is used, then it is very handy to check/validate the document on the server.
First of all, the site/project must be a SEEdit Maxi Project and a valid HTTP Address available. ( Settings from the Site menu ).
The Server Check Tool is available from the Tools Menu. This Tool is using the w3.org Markup Validation Service. Just mark the check-box "Check All HTML" and press the button Check ...

With SEEdit Maxi II is it easy and fast to add a background-image into the css file.
Use the Quick-CSS Tool and simply select background. There is a PopUp button that contains all images in the project/site for fast and safe insertion.
Another Tip
In the Quick CSS window some labels have a *, that means that is possible to customize that PopUp Menu. Just press apple+mouse down and an editable file is opened.

Create Project Alias
In SEEdit Maxi it is possible to create a Project Alias from the Site Menu. In Leopard it is possible to create a Pop Up Menu in the Doc.
Just Create a Folder/Directory and drag to the Doc, add the SEEdit Project Alias to the folder.

Today SEEdit Maxi II 2009 Release 2 is available for download.
Added a new menu item ( #! ) in the menu bar. With this Script Language it is possible to do Backups of the site/project by auto, Multiple Quick FTP from different folders, close and open external applications and more. Examples is available for download from SEEdit Maxi Download Page.
Added a Image Pop Up to the Insert Link Window.
Fixed an issue when the document have unbalanced tags. Now correct end tag is added.
