SEEdit Maxi II have a new application icon, created by Alberto Prato, easier to find in the Doc. We also fixed some issues and done some optimizing of the code.

To continue the work with SEEdit Maxi II we need some registered beta testers that help us improve new features and the quality of our software. We need testers for both PPC, OS X 10.4.11/Leopard and testers with Intel Mac and Leopard.

Get a Credit in the SEEdit Maxi About Box.
As an registered beta tester you get an credit in the SEEdit Maxi II About Box with your name an country.

One or two beta testers from the U.S
That take care and check the SEEdit Maxi II User Interface.

Testers from Europe.
We need some ( none ascii users ) testers from countries like Hungary, Poland, Spain, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Latvia ... ( Or take a look at the text encodings at the bottom of this page )

As a tester you need Skype or Yahoo Messenger to chat with the developing team. ( This is a must! ) You also need to have the possibility to check our Beta RSS Channel.

We have closed the downloads to the SEEdit Maxi II application! This depending on, what we could call it an attack from Japan, more than 60% of the monthly downloads in the 24 hours.

Today SEEdit Maxi II 2009.05.03 is available for download. This build fixes a bug that affected the Find Window when no Project/Site was opened/selected. Please read more in the release notes.

The Sidebar in the Document Windows make it easy to insert images and links just by drag and drop.

The Sidebar (Hide/Show from the View Menu) have a Contextual Menu that could be opened with ctrl + mouse down or right click. Files, images and downloads could be listed in the Sidebar list-box.

Drag and Drop
Insertion of links - html, css or JavaScript is done with a drag and drop and result in correct syntax depending on type of file. Insertion of images is done in the same way.

Today SEEdit Maxi II 2009.05.02 is available for download. This build fixes some issues for (mostly) new users or when SEEdit Maxi II is re-installed on a new Mac.

The Save Dialog Box should now show the file extensions as default. In SEEdit Maxi 2009 r4 we changed ( on request ) some functions to the Save Dialog Box. The File Save Dialog Box should show the file extensions when creating new files from templates and doing Save As..

If your Save Dialog Box don't showing the file extensions ( after unchecked the Hide Extension check-box in the Save Dialog ) - Go to the SEEdit Maxi II Preferences Advanced - Reset Application Bundle Identifier.

After Reset Application Bundle Identifier - You need to uncheck the Hide Extension check-box. After that the OS has saved the info and next time the file extension is showing up as default.

If a SEEdit Maxi II project is used, SEEdit Maxi II knows where to save the files depending on type html, css, include files and so on ..
