In SEEdit Maxi II and SEEdit Pro it is possible to quit other applications when SEEdit is quit (closed) by auto, it is also possible to do a backup of the actual project/site to the backup folder.

Running SEEdit Script
Download the onQuit Script Example and add it to the Script Folder. The Script Folder is available from the Main Menu (#!) and then Open Script Folder. Add the file onQuit.txt to the Script Folder. The Example is Quit Safari when SEEdit is quit.

The Example ( on the first line ) is showing the command to do a backup to the selected/created backup folder. Just remove the comment (/*) and SEEdit do a backup of the actual project/site when SEEdit is closed.

In SEEdit it easy and fast to insert HTML/CSS/Script snippets using the Contextual Menu.

Insertion of Snippets
Insertion of snippets could be done from the Insertion Menu, but using a Contextual Menu in the Editor Window gives the correct snippets list depending on the document type. ctrl + alt + mouse down opens the contextual menu for easy and fast insertion.

Editable Snippets
The snippets is editable from the Language Menu.

Add Snippets to the Snippet List from Selection
One way to add snippets is to select the text in the document and then use the Contextual Menu ( ctrl + mouse down or right click on the mouse ) and then use the Menu Items in the bottom of the Contextual Menu.

Today SEEdit Maxi II beta 1 2009 r10 is available for download and test. In this build we added a new function that remember the last cursor, scrollbar and selections in the editor window.

Allows Save Cursor Position
Allows to save the cursor, scrollbar and selections in the editor window. This new feature could be turned off/on in the SEEdit Preferences - Editor. Default is ON.

HTML Syntax Coloring
Improved html syntax coloring.
