SEEdit Maxi II is now only available as Universal Binary build and support OS X 10.11 PPC/Intel or later.

After feedback from our users, we decided to continue the work on an official Universal Binary build for both PPC and Intel. That means that we going to support PPC and G5.

The official build of SEEdit Maxi II would be Universal Binary (PPC/Intel). The SEEdit Auto Updates would be redirected to the new UB build and available on Download Sites and our own Download Page.

Today SEEdit Pro 1.8.0 is available for download. In this new release we added Time Scheduled Site Backup and Quick Look to the Site Window (Snow Leopard Only).

Time Scheduled Site Backup
It is now possible to do backup of the actual site/project every 5,10,15 or 30 minutes. This is done in the background and do not affect the work in SEEdit Pro. It is also possible to exclude files like dmg, zip and images to do backup only on documents.

Time Scheduled Site Backup Settings
The settings is available in the SEEdit Pro Preferences - Backup and also from the Main Menu- Site (when the Site Window is active).

Quick Look
Added Quick Look (Snow Leopard only) to the Site Window.

Today we announce that SEEdit Maxi II PPC and SEEdit Maxi II Universal Binary builds is deprecated.

SEEdit Maxi II Universal Binary Deprecated
The official version of SEEdit Maxi II that would be available at the download sites like VersionTracker and MacUpdate is only SEEdit Maxi II i386 (Intel).

SEEdit Maxi II G5/PPC Deprecated
The Power PC build of SEEdit Maxi II is deprecated, but we still going to fix reported bugs and support updates for registered users.

SEEdit Maxi II i386 Intel
We continue working on the Intel build to support OS X 10.4.11/10.5/10.6

SEEdit Pro i386 Intel
We continue the work with SEEdit Pro for Leopard and Snow Leopard with Pro features like FTP Using Modification Date and Time Scheduled Site Backup. SEEdit Pro Pack also contains registration keys for SEEdit Maxi II i386 and G5/PPC.
