Today SEEdit Pro 3.1.0 is available for download, in this build we fine tuned the new tabbed document interface.
Easier tab navigation using keyboard
It is now possible to use the up and down arrows to navigate in the Sidebar ( Tab List-box ). When the Text Editor have focus, press alt-tab to set the focus on the Sidebar List-box. It is now possible to change tab (document) selection in the list-box using the up and down arrows. Pressing the key Tab set the focus on the Text Field again.
Tidy Syntax Checker
It is now possible to toggle (show/hide) the Tidy Syntax Checker Window using short-cut cmd-D

In SEEdit Pro, Maxi II and Mini is it possible to use an global template folder to host your own html and css templates.
Global Template Folder
Create/Select a Global Template Folder (anywhere on the hard-disk) from the File Menu, that host your own html and css templates. The Global Template Files could be opened from the File Menu - Open From Global Template Folder. This files is opened as new to avoid over write.

Today SEEdit Pro, Maxi II and Mini updates is available for download.
In this new builds we addressed a memory leak using the Full Screen Preview and fixed one issue when running on PPC/OS X 10.4 ( SEEdit Maxi II ) when opening a file from the File Menu.
Show/Hide Sidebar
After an report that the short-cut did not work (was used by the OS), we have changed the short-cut to shift-cmd-D, that is the same short-cut Apple Preview use.

Added Tabbed Document Interface and Improved Syntax Checking. SEEdit Maxi is now built on SEEdit Pro wich means SEEdit Maxi II now using a lot of new API under the hood.
SEEdit Mini 2010.01.00 (Intel)
This new version is built on SEEdit Pro 3.0.0 and stripped down with features like Quick FTP, Add-ons (Sitemap), Time Scheduled Backups and RSS Tools.
SEEdit Mini accept SEEdit Pro and SEEdit Maxi II registration keys, e.g SEEdit Mini is free for all registered SEEdit Pro and SEEdit Maxi II users.

This is just an reminder to convert the old SEEdit Project format to the new one.
The "Old Format" - If there is a lot of folder name that begins with underscore in the project/site root then it is an old Project Format. The "New Format" have only one folder named _seeditsiteprefs

Today SEEdit Pro 3.0.0 beta 1 is available as an public release for download and test.
Tabbed Document Interface (TDI)
SEEdit Pro 3.0 now working with Tabbed Document Interface and allows to open unlimited documents in the same Editor Window.
Improved Menu Items
We also added a feature request, a menu short-cut to Insert Inline CSS Style Element (⌥⌘I)
Open Documents
Just click on the file list-box or use the File menu items, a new document window is created for the first document (file). It is also possible to create a New Document Window from the File Menu and new documents is always added to the front most document window.
The Window Menu is also updated with Next and Previous Document and Editor Window.

In SEEdit there is two types of document templates available for editing, Default (System) Templates and Site/Project Templates.
Default (System) Templates
This templates is used when a new SEEdit Project is created and copied into the new project/site. Don't modify this templates to much, only edit things like language, copyright and text encodings.
Site/Project Templates
This templates is located to the actual site/project and could be edited to match the mostly pages in the site/project.
File New
From the File New ... the document templates from the site/project is available to create new pages from the edited site/project templates.
Edit
To Edit the document templates use the Language Menu and the first menu item in the menu list ( Edit Document Templates )

SEEdit Maxi II 2010.01 and SEEdit Pro 2.1 is today available for download. In this new builds we addressed an issue with Preview on Snow Leopard. If there is any browser that need to be supported, please send a feature request and we add it to the next version.

The location for this settings in the SEEdit Preferences is moved to the Genreal settings. Default is Safari. The menu short-cut is alt-cmd-R
Save As..
SEEdit now always suggest html document when using Save As... the root folder as default folder.
